Jody is a Partner in our Litigation Department.

Having graduated from University College Cork in 2009, Jody completed his apprenticeship with a top litigation defence firm in Cork City and qualified as a Solicitor in 2014.

Prior to joining Cantillons Solicitors in 2016, Jody worked for a leading Dublin firm, specialising in the area of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. There he gained valuable experience in defending and prosecuting high end, large scale commercial disputes before the Commercial Court.  Jody also advised private clients on such matter as:

• personal injury claims,
• employment law,
• contract disputes and
• online defamation.

Since joining Cantillons Solicitors, Jody has advised and represented clients in relation to the following matters:

• car accident claims,
• accident at work claims,
• personal injury claims (including slips and falls),
• data protection breaches,
• defamation (including online defamation and abuse of social media and privacy),
• debt collection,
• contract disputes and
• property and neighbour disputes.

Jody also advises clients on employment law matters, including redundancy, unfair dismissal and injuries at work.

Jody has successfully represented clients before the District Court, Circuit Court, High Court, Supreme Court and the Commercial Court.

Jody is also a Mediator.
