In summary, our client was walking along an aisle in a shop when he was caused to fall on a wet floor. Our client suffered serious injuries as a result of this accident and required a number of surgeries thereafter.

The matter was referred to the Injuries Board (now PIAB and/or the Personal Injuries Resolution Board). The Defendant rejected the PAIB process and an Authorisation issued, permitting the matter to proceed through the Courts.

We brought High Court Personal Injuries Proceedings on behalf of our client. The case settled for significant compensation, without our client having to give evidence in Court. The Defendant also paid our client’s legal costs.
