COMPENSATION FOR CLIENT INJURED IN BIKE ACCIDENT

Our client was cycling her bike in the cycle lane when a car, without looking, pulled across her path. Our client applied her brakes which resulted in her falling from her bike and hitting the ground hard. Our client suffered significant injuries.

Cantillons Solicitors were instructed to bring a Personal Injury Claim against the driver of the car who caused her to fall from her bike. The matter was submitted to PIAB (formally the Injuries Board) however it was released as our client’s injuries were too complex.

High Court proceedings issued and the case settled for a significant compensation pay out, without our client having to go to Court. As part of the settlement, our client’s legal fees were paid by the Defendant.
