Jody Cantillon and the Litigation team at Cantillons Solicitors recently obtained compensation for a client who suffered injury, loss and damage following a workplace accident.
Our client was working at a premises when a defective door slammed and caused significant injuries to our client’s hand. An application was made to PIAB (formerly the Injuries Board) and the matter was released from that process.
Thereafter, Circuit Court Personal Injury proceedings issued.
The matter ultimately settled, resulting in significant compensation for our client. This settlement was obtained without the need for our client to give evidence. The Defendant was also required to pay our client’s legal costs.
