Compensation Claim for Fall in Manhole Settled

Jody Cantillon and the Litigation Team at Cantillons Solicitors recently successfully represented a client who suffered personal injury, loss and damage as a result of falling in a manhole. 

The case was listed for hearing before the High Court and a Tender Offer was made by the Defendant. Having considered the Book of Quantum, and our experience of what compensation was awarded in previous personal injury cases, we advised our client to reject the Tender. We then pressured the Defendant into making an increased offer and the case ultimately settled. Our client was very happy with the compensation.

This settlement was reached without our client having to give evidence in Court.
