Substantial Award for Gentleman knocked down by a car

Jody and the Litigation Team represented a gentleman who suffered serious injuries to his neck and back as a result of being knocked down by a car.  The Defendant alleged that he was not responsible for the accident. In early 2017, the Defendant attempted to buy off this claim by offering minimal compensation.  Jody and the Team advised the client not to accept this as they felt that it was not sufficient compensation in light of the significant injuries which this gentleman suffered.  The Defendant continued to deny liability however due to the weight of our Expert evidence, the Defendant ultimately had to concede liability.  Jody and the Team successfully achieved a substantial settlement for this gentleman, without the need to go to Court.
