While walking around the Department Store, our client was caused to slip and fall as a result of a wet floor. The floor was not being monitored and it should not have been wet.

The Department Store tried to persuade our client to withdraw the case however, having considered our advice, our client proceeded with the case which ultimately ran for 3 days before the High Court. The High Court found in favour of our client and awarded our client compensation for the injuries suffered.

The Department Store appealed the High Court’s decision to the Court of Appeal. We then successfully represented our client before the Court of Appeal and the Department Store’s appeal was dismissed.
