Woman scarred for life receives settlement

In March 2017, Pat Daly and the Medical Negligence Team settled a case for a lady who attended her General Practitioner with skin tags and small wart-like growths on her face and neck which she wanted removed.  The lady’s General Practitioner attempted to freeze (cryotherapy) the skin lesions but was negligent in the application of the freezing agent which resulted in severe chemical burns to six areas on the lady’s face, neck and torso which were permanent.  The case went to trial and was settled on the first day for a very substantial six figure sum.
