A cashier working in a busy supermarket sustained injuries to her back and to her wrist as a result of unsafe working conditions and practices. The cashier instructed Cantillons to issue proceedings on her behalf against her employer. The case was due to be heard during the High Court in Cork in July, 2016. Negotiations were entered into prior to the case being heard and the matter settled for a significant sum.
