Sinéad practices in our General Litigation Department

Experience

Sinéad first joined Cantillons in 2012, having previously trained and practiced in a top litigation defence firm in Cork, which provided an invaluable insight into the handling of claims. Sinéad has represented clients at all court levels and before the Employment Law forums.  She advises clients in relation to all aspects of civil litigation, to include personal injury claims, accidents at work, road traffic accidents, public liability claims, farming accidents, claims against local authorities and claims against the HSE. She has successfully represented clients before the District Court, Circuit Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal and has been involved in several high-profile cases throughout her career.  She also advises members of An Garda Síochána in respect on injuries they sustained during the course of their duties and has successfully pursued claims for compensation on their behalf.

Qualifications

• First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in civil law from UCC
• Completed Law Society Professional Practice Courses at Blackhall Place, Dublin and was awarded the prize for overall top combined marks on the course.
• Qualified as Solicitor in 2010
• Completed Law Society Employment Law Diploma
