The team at Cantillons negotiates a successful conclusion to breach of contract proceedings

Our Litigation team recently represented a young professional starting out on his career journey, who incurred significant financial loss when his new employer unilaterally altered the terms of his salary following his commencement date. He subsequently found alternative employment and the team at Cantillons initiated legal proceedings to recover the loss he had incurred as a result of the unilateral change. He recovered the entirety of the out of pocket loss incurred during his term of employment and his legal fees were discharged by his former employer, as part of the terms of settlement.  He was pleased that the terms of settlement were confidential and arose without the necessity for a court attendance.
