Significant settlement for Garda who suffered injuries while on duty at an event

The Litigation Team recently negotiated a settlement for a Garda who suffered injuries when she was caused to trip and fall on a defective surface while working at an entertainment event.   The Garda in question was delighted with the outcome to the case and was pleased with the expeditious manner in which it had been progressed, having been set down for hearing and settled within six months of the issuing of proceedings. Our client was compensated appropriately for injuries suffered and reimbursed for all out of pocket expenses incurred.  Legal fees were discharged by the other side.
