SIGNIFICANT COMPENSATION FOR CLIENT INVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT

Amy Connolly and the Litigation Team at Cantillons Solicitors, recently successfully obtained significant compensation for a client who suffered injuries, loss and damage as a result of a road traffic accident in Galway.

In summary, our client was stationary in traffic when a car being driven by the Defendant crossed her path into oncoming traffic. The Defendant’s vehicle then collided with another vehicle. As a result of this collision, both of the Defendants’ vehicles collided with our client’s vehicle, resulting in our client sustaining a double impact. As a result of the significant double impact to our client’s vehicle, she sustained personal injuries loss and damage.

The matter was referred to the Personal Injuries Resolution Board (PIRB) but was ultimately released.

Thereafter, High Court Personal Injuries Proceedings issued.  The case was listed for hearing before the High Court.  However, it settled before the case commenced for significant compensation, without our client having to give evidence in Court.
