Significant Award for Garda injured in duty

The Litigation team at Cantillons recently represented a member of An Garda Siochana who suffered serious personal injuries as a result of a vicious assault on duty.

Our client suffered a serious physical  injury as a result of the assault on duty.

 We issued proceedings under the provisions of the Garda Siochana (Compensation) Acts, 1941-1945.

After hearing evidence, the Court awarded our client significant financial compensation for his out of pocket expenses and for pain and suffering to date and into the future.

Our client was very happy with the outcome.
