Garda Compensation Claim

The Litigation team at Cantillons recently represented a member of An Garda Siochana who suffered serious personal injuries as a result of an assault while on duty.

Our client was viciously assaulted and suffered serious physical and psychological injuries, including, post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the assault on duty.

We issued proceedings under the provisions of the Garda Siochana (Compensation) Acts, 1941-1945.

After hearing evidence, the Court awarded our client significant financial compensation for his out of pocket expenses and for pain and suffering to date and into the future

Our client was very happy with the outcome.
