Family Members of girl fatally injured settle their cases

Sinead and the team at Cantillons Solicitors were instructed to act on behalf of the parents and siblings of a girl who was fatally injured as a result of an accident that happened on a farm. A claim was brought on behalf of the little girl, called a fatal claim, but as well as that her two siblings and parents brought their own claims for the psychological injuries they suffered as a result of her death. These were extremely tragic cases and her death could have been prevented if it had not been for the negligence of the Defendants. The team successfully sued the parties responsible.  Before the case was due to be heard, all four cases were settled for significant sums.

Of course, compensation is never going to be enough for this family and can never bring their daughter back but they were entitled to and deserved to receive compensation for the injuries they themselves suffered.
