Ernest Cantillon’s Response to An Taoiseach’s Apology – Louise O’Keeffe

I have only had a limited opportunity to talk to Louise but I understand that An Taoiseach Enda Kenny has issued an apology to Louise O’Keeffe for what happened to her in Dunderrow National School. Louise is grateful to An Taoiseach for his courtesy and decency and the speed with which he has issued this apology at this point in time.

Louise has already expressed disappointment that an apology was not issued at a far earlier stage and at the time that all this has taken, but better late than never. The apology is graciously accepted.
