Employee settles claim for devastating leg injury

Sinead and the Litigation team acted for a man whose leg became detached while he was felling a tree during the course of his employment. We argued that he had not been properly trained and had not been given appropriate assistance. He had suffered a very nasty injury and was lucky that the leg could be reattached in surgery. High Court proceedings were brought and the case settled early on and a very satisfactory settlement was reached.
