Cyclist settles claim for injury caused by pothole

Sinead and the team acted for a man who was innocently injured whilst out cycling. The man’s bike hit a hidden pothole that the Council had tried ( and failed) to fix numerous times before. As a result, the man suffered extensive damage to his shoulder which meant that he could not return to his job. The team issued High Court proceedings for the man claiming compensation for his injury and for the loss of his job. The case settled during the High Court in Cork for a significant six figure sum.
