Cyclist receives substantial award following road traffic accident

Mary Scriven, Solicitor acted on behalf of a client who while cycling his bike on a main road was collided with by a motor vehicle as a result of which our client was thrown from his bike and suffered a broken arm and broken ankle.   As a result of this incident our client was out of work for some months.    We sued the driver of the motor vehicle and the case was ready for trial.  However, just prior to the trial commencing a substantial settlement was reached for the injuries suffered by our client together with his loss of earnings and expenses incurred arising out of this road traffic accident.
