In summary, our client was crushed between 2 boats during the course of our client’s employment.

Cantillons Solicitors instructed an Expert Engineer and Marine Surveyor who confirmed that there was negligence on the part of our client’s employer and/or the operators of the ships involved.

The matter was referred to the Injuries Resolution Board (IRB) and the matter was released as some of the Defendants were from different countries and the Defendants denied liability. Thereafter, our client launched a High Court Personal Injuries Compensation Claim.

The case settled for significant compensation without our client having to give evidence in Court.
