Cantillons successful in securing significant award for a minor as a result of injuries suffered during the course of a school outing

Amy and the Litigation Team were successful in representing a teenager who suffered serious injuries as a result of an accident which occurred during the course of a school trip. 

Proceedings were issued against the school as well as the occupiers of the premises on which this accident occurred and the organisers of the activity in question.

Full Defences were filed on behalf of all of the Defendants in this matter and liability was denied up to the point of trial. The Defendants refused to try and settle the matter in advance of the hearing.

However, the case ultimately settled on the morning of the trial and a significant offer was made by the Defendants which was accepted.
